First United is filled with loving and caring people, who follow Jesus. Our love for Jesus encourages us to grow in understanding who Jesus is and who he is leading us to be. We grow through a daily time of reading the Bible and reflecting upon what we read, through a time of worshipping together, and through sharing our stories and beliefs. Our love for others encourages us to see the people around us and find ways to help them become the person Jesus sees. We show our love for others through feeding those who are hungry and collaborating with community organizations so they can continue to reach those we are not able to reach.
